They sure don't make them like they used to...
When it comes to repairing, maintaining, and upgrading your classic beauty, it can be frustrating trying to find someone whom you can trust with the knowledge and expertise. Many of our classic and vintage customers have heirloom cars they want to return to childhood memories, classics they bought at auctions, or timeless vehicles they've come to acquire.
Common upgrades we see are power steering conversions, fuel injection installation, steering column upgrades, power brake conversions, wiring harness replacements, factory and non-factory A/C, and more. We use OE parts when available, or from our preferred manufacturers like Wilwood, FiTech, Tanks Inc., Vintage Air, Summit, and Ecklers.
We understand that these vehicles need to be cared for with efficient delicacy and have dedicated a separate department to servicing these vehicles. The demand for repairs and services on pre-smog, high-performance, and classic type vehicles has tripled in the Central Valley in the last 5 years and there are very few capable shops left in the area. This has made the volume for this department extremely high with as many as 10 inquires coming through a day. We are currently booking from a waitlist-style calendar as space becomes available in an attempt to service everyone in as timely a manner as possible. If you were referred to us from a friend or colleague, please be sure to mention this!
We kindly ask that vehicles that have not ran in 10+ years or those not already in fair and respectable condition do not ask to be added to the waitlist as we are no longer booking for full restorations or long term projects.
Please allow 5-7 business days on the email response while we work through everyone.
If you are interested in some more information for classic, vintage, and specialty repairs, please send an email with the following information:
- Year, make, and model of vehicle
- Services you'd like to have done and services that have already been done. Be descriptive as possible.
- How long the vehicle has been sitting and/or in its current state
- Photos of the engine compartment, suspension, instrument cluster, steering column, under carriage, etc. anything pertinent to repairs needed and a general overview shot. Do not send photos as if you are "selling" us the vehicle with different views of the exterior.
